Homewood Moments

Congratulations to our 3 winners! After months of carefully viewing over 1,000 submissions, our judges have selected 3 winners which best represent the Simple Moments spirit. Each will be proudly displayed on the Homewood Suites digital billboard in Times Square.

Again in 2008, winners and their families were treated to a trip to New York City to see their moments displayed on billboards in Times Square.

Dancing in the Breeze of the Wisteria

Natasha R.

Lathrop, CA

During our trip in Napa, CA, we were walking under the Wisteria when a nice breeze began to blow. The petals of the Wisteria began to fall and my 3-year-old daughter began to dance with them. This was such a heartfelt moment seeing her so happy and carefree.

Best Friends

Estelle Z.

Melbourne Beach, FL

Three young girls at the beach, sitting on a surfboard, watching the waves.

Simple Moment – Back to Grandma's

Cindy L.

Sherwood Park, AB

This picture was taken on a trip to Grandma's - they walked a path in the field, admired everything that grew. I loved the way big sister held her sister's hand and led her along. Little sis even took her white bear for protection. Comfort at its best.

Last Year’s Winners

We flew last year’s winners and their families to New York city to see their moments displayed on a state-of-the-art digital billboard in Times Square.

Underwater Twins

Kim G.

McCordsville, In

It doesn’t matter where we go on vacation, the pool is always a hot destination. Our twin 5-year-old boys have been in swim lessons for the last year to get us ready for the big, hotel pool. The boys do a great job touring theme parks and sites, but the hotel pool is the best way to cool off and have unscheduled, non-tourist fun. This is the first photo I took underwater without the boys wearing floatie suits.

First Big Game

Jamie H.

Temple, TX

On a trip to Washington DC that was full of firsts...first air plane ride, first train ride, first metro ride, first trip to a museum or monument... here we see Reaves (2) in his first moments of his very first (Nationals) baseball game. All he could say at first was "Wow!"

Ryan playing in a Field of Bluebonnets!

Beth A.

Mansfield, TX

This is our son Ryan playing in a field of bluebonnets. I just love his smile, the utmost proof of pure bliss! We always have the best vacations now that he is part of the family!
