When you click the "browse" or "choose file" button on the submission form, you're going to direct us to where your photo or video is saved on your computer. It's probably in a folder somewhere. We just need you to help us find it. It's just like the process you have to go through when you add an attachment to an e-mail.
If your photos came from your digital camera, they're probably .JPG files. Videos can be uploaded as .avi, .mpg, or .mov file formats.
After you click the "submit" button at the end of the submission form, it'll take a moment for everything to process, depending on how big your file is. But once everything is processed, you'll get a "thank you for submitting" message from us. And when you see that, you're golden!
Depending on your connection speed and the size of the file you uploaded, your submission can take anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple hours. If you have a high-speed connection, your file should take 1-5 minutes per MB to upload. So a 3MB picture could take up to 15 minutes, but should be faster. These things vary for users. But if it's been over 24 hours, we recommend canceling and checking the size of your file before trying again.
